Watercoloring

well gouache-ing would be more accurate but who cares! As long as it involves a paint brush I'm game!
yeah that's Harry and Draco... you can't tell, but they're secretly in love!

Sasquatch, he's been around my brain lately... i dunno

Fruit, Fun, and Printing

First, a page from my sketchbook:
My new sketchbook  is kinda huge, to the point where it doesn't  really fit my scanner very well, that's why the image is cut off a little.

And then there's this:
this is a plan for a print I will be making...
I'm really excited to be screen printing again!

Harry and Hairy

Had a wonderful Harry potter Marathon on monday...
drew this while watching the first movie:

I'd say about half the movie was spent on Hagrid's hair and beard... which turned out well I think.

see you friday!

*ps. credit where credit is due, texture from here

Always with the apologies

I didn't update friday...
I could give you about a thousand sorry excuses why, but instead I'll just give you this Sunday update...

I've declared June "Zombie Month", I sketched this self portrait in celebration:

and here's some pretty sort of girl with her cats... I like to think she talks with them:

and finally, a non specific sketchbook page:

in other news, I just got myself a wonderful new sketchbook... it's huge.
I think I might name it Big Bertha, but I have a new naming convention so I'll have to see if that works...

maybe some UK pictures on tuesday, I dunno.

Something Different

For today we're going with a blast from the past...
also known as extremely old artwork.

This... is the first piece I ever brought into photoshop, it is *at least* 8 years old:
and this is from when I was in 6th grade, a.k.a. my Dragonball Z phase:

wow.
